Our manual water softeners are studied right down to the smallest details, safe and simple to operate. They are used to soften drinking water, making it lighter, or to eliminate scale, the source of severe problems in pipes, thus avoiding encrustations. The advantages of using this appliance include better performance of boilers, water heaters, etc.

Manual water softeners are available in two different versions: the traditional one (model Normal) with two ball taps, one at input and one at output, and the new By-Pass range with a single valve, allowing the supply of water even during regeneration. Both versions are available in four different sizes:L8, L12, L16, L20. The parts of cylinder and the cover are made of stainless steel AISI 304. The cover is composed of two independent parts to allow convenient and safe opening and closing of water softener. The filter s located inside cylinder are positioned in such a way as to make maximum use of the resin that they contain. Synthetic discs are fitted in the output filter to ensure optimum filtering of the output water. Both models are available with 3/8” valve fittings. The By-Pass valve allows washing in counter current. Both models must be feeded with drinking water, at temperature between 5°C and 25°C, at max. pressure of 8 bar and with a maximum total hardness of 50°dH (degrees German). The resin used is specifically intended for softening and complies wit the regulations for foodstuffs. Caution: for regeneration, use only NaCl (cooking salt). To extend the service life of the softener we do recommend to install an adequate filter with minimum filtration capacity of 100 microns onto the inlet. To achieve more exact estimation of regeneration time, it is advisable to install the flow meter onto the inlet or outlet of the softener. After the mutual arrangement we can deliver the softener with the filter already installed (it is possible to discuss the type) as well as with the flow meter already mentioned. It is inevitable to avoid drying out or freezing of the ionite filling of the softener during the softener transportation and operation.
